All amounts are in Japanese yen (JPY); Tuition and Other fees are subject to change annually. The above amounts are estimates based on the fee schedule for the 2024 academic year.  For the students who enroll in the NEXUS Program in September 2024, Tuition and Other fees for the first semester are based on the fee schedule for AY2024 and for the second and third semesters are based on the fee schedule for AY2025. The 2025 fee schedule is scheduled to be finalized in October 2024. However, in the case of  the College of Intercultural Communication for the NEXUS Program only, Tuition and Other fees for the first and second semesters are based on the fee schedule for AY2024.

The NEXUS program is designed to take 4.5 years (nine semesters) in total to complete. However, the College of Intercultural Communication for the NEXUS Program differs in that it is designed to take four years (eight semesters) to complete. Both cases require Tuition and Other fees for the entire period of enrollment on a semester basis. The amount of Tuition and Other fees for the third and subsequent semesters is almost the same as the amount of Tuition and Other fees for the second semester above.

Note:

1. Admission fee and Tuition/Other fees do not include the administration fee. The administration fee, 4% of the Admission fee and Tuition/Other fees (For scholarship holders, 4% of the remaining amount after subtracting the amount of the scholarship that you are receiving from the Admission fee and Tuition/Other fees) must be paid. The deadline to submit payment of the Admission fee and first-semester Tuition and Other fees depends upon the application period. For details, please refer to the application guideline.

2. Tuition and Other fees for the second semester are due after the semester starts.

3. Other fees include Experiment and Practical Training Fees and Rikkyo Student Mutual-Aid Health Insurance Union Fee. Other fees for the first semester (excluding the College of Intercultural Communication) include only Rikkyo Student Mutual-Aid Health Insurance Union Fee.

4. In the College of Intercultural Communication, all students participate in a long-term study abroad program for half a year or one year in principle. In addition to the Tuition and Other fees above, the required fees for studying abroad must be paid. Please refer here to the details to handle the Tuition and Other fees during the period of study abroad.
