Housing
Students enrolled in the NEXUS program have the option of staying in a dormitory or arranging their own accommodation.
1. Choosing to stay in a dormitory
Starting university life is a big step and doing so in a foreign country is particularly challenging. Rikkyo University understands this, and to make such a challenging task in an unfamiliar place easier, we offer dormitory accommodations to support you during your transitions.
(1) You may stay for a maximum of two semesters. By the end of the first semester, you will be asked if you wish to extend your stay for another semester. Afterward, you must find your own housing.
(2) Rikkyo University offers five dormitory options. When applying, you will be asked to select your preferred dormitories in order from first to fifth choice. Please refer to the following link for the details about each dormitory.

(3) Depending on capacity and other factors, you will be assigned to one of the dormitories you selected.
(4) You will indicate your dormitory preferences in the application system during the application period. Afterwards, dormitory coordinators(rk@bgj.co.jp) will notify you via email which dormitory you have been assigned to around mid‑June 2026.
(5) Once your assigned dormitory is confirmed, the International office will announce the contract procedures. If you do not agree with the designated dormitory or the terms and conditions, you will need to arrange a housing on your own (see section 2: “Choosing to arrange your own housing by yourself” below).
